A little something I would like to share about why I love this forum and the many great souls who come here, feel free to share this with all your friends:
Many use their forums simply as an advertising venue to make a bazillion $$$. I pass those by. It is too calculating and cold and impersonal.
To me money is merely a tool and making a profit is fine. We all need to make a living. My passion is about following your bliss... the money will follow. (So the modern day addage goes.)
My joy is reaching into the Divine and sharing that quest of the soul with others; which is the why making such a "too-do" about getting rich is lower on my list of my priorities.
I was invited to a "Spiritual" forum, (which I will not mention it's name) and joined yesterday. When I opened up the members section it was ad after ad after ad after ad on making the big bucks...spirituality, metaphysics, soul searching and awakening to the Divine Source was secondary or little to do with Spirituality or nothing to do with Spirituality at all.
Finances and the economy is being exploited these days on a massive global scale. The fear is creating a mad scramble to focus on acquiring money. It soon becomes an obsession for possession before the "great fall" syndrome.
The Master Jesus taught,
"Seek ye first, the kingdom of God and all these things, (the material necessities of life), shall be added unto you."
There is divine wisdom in this statement to humankind and your uncommon sense will tug on your heart and confirm its truth. That is if one does not get stubborn or prideful and ignore it.
Sure I have a website in the making and will eventually sell products. But the real worth of the site will be in the content...I have a Kingdom not of this earth to lead people to if they so desire to take the quest.
I do have a book library, but my copy of this one got lost in a fire. I use to re read this one all the time because it seemed like I had to grow into it. Everytime I read it I understood more. On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
i used to be an avid reader, I do not have time now, but I know I will go back. Did you ever read read a book a "Pale Horse". About a guy in Bayonne NJ having a very weird adventure?
My grandson used to play the tuba in grade school band. He loved it, then quit when he got onto HS. Too Bad, one should never a natural talent go unexplored.
